Adam's Story Goes International...

Wow. Today has been an extraordinary day. Adam's story was released to the press by Caters News and yesterday appeared on the Mail Online and Telegraph websites:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/9428924/Cuddle-from-mother-brings-newborn-out-of-coma.html

Today, it's appeared in the print versions of The Telegraph, The Mirror and The Metro as well as being featured on two American websites, Yahoo's Shine and the Huffington Post:

I've also just had BBC Radio Shropshire here and the story will be on their Drivetime Show after 5pm tonight.

What a whirlwind of a day!

(and my little media star is currently coping with the stress by snoring it off in his cot....)

  2. Congratulations Charlotte, for getting GBS awareness out there and for being an ace mum, not just fighting for Adam but for all those other children out there and those yet to be born who may be affected by GBS. It can't be easy going over things time and time again, but you are so brave xx

  3. Thank you Amy. You're absolutely right that it's not easy to keep revisiting our trauma, nor is it easy to share it so publicly but I believe that if reading our story means even one more woman knows about GBS and so protects her child, then it will all be worth it. x

  5. Ahh thanks Christina, that's very kind of you. I do hope sharing my story helps other women know about, and so prevent, GBS infections in their own children!
